Carrie Lyn Unleashed
A Spontaneous Road Tour Log
Carrie has the uncanny ability to play off of just about any musician. Here is a partial listing of people and places where she has played.
Greg Boerner, Batavia, IL - thank you for opening your home, taking the time to listen, giving advice and playing a little. Your opening spot for my band at our Wheaton Grand benefit concert was quite the performance and I'll always enjoy your honest originality in your song and on your guitar with that foot stompin' energy from those down under roots of the Delta.
Michael Card ,Christian author/singer/songwriter -at the Arcada in St. Charles, IL - thank you for taking the time at the beginning of our rehearsal to play together. Hope to have more time in the future as concerts have exceedingly tight schedules, what a gift you imparted. Blessings.
Trent Carlini, "Elvis", at Rosemont Horizon - playing "My Way" with the "King" in front of 4,000 with the Governor in attendance, and receiving a compliment from the Governor's wife, is an unforgettable dream come true - thank you again Dream King ,Inc.
Joanna Connor at Kingston Mines, Chicago, IL - thank you for the favor of joining you on stage, the encouraging words of praise, and the open invite to play. I am in awe at your technique as I find you rival any guitarist I have known and hope your passion and electrifying energy God speeds you and your outstanding band to all the stages you wish to play.
Chainsaw DuPont at Duke's and Sylvie's in Chicago - you are that Mississippi blues man. Thanks for sharing your friends, and offering a hand up. Your voice and your music are real, and I enjoyed playing your front porch style. I will treasure our recording forever - God go with you as you take that front porch around the world.
Joel Everett, Seven Facets, Elmhurst, IL - genius composer-Christian and secular, arranger, keyboardist, musician extraordinaire and dear friend - you are a walking miracle and I am blessed continually by your talent. From our first acquaintance at C.O.D. helping Maestro Harold Baur fill out the chamber orchestra, joining me with the Salt Creek Sinfonietta where we debuted your violin/electric violin solo - Out of Darkness, Into Light-, all the jammin' house parties, from jazz in the mornin' to blues at nite - you are the multi metre music man!!! Thank you for debuting Seven Facets at my "Stages" concert at First Street Playhouse and I'm looking forward to performing with you in Seven Facets and other engagements as they come.
Florida Road Tour '05, Port Richey and vicinity, - a big thank you to all the artists and their bands that took me to the stage and let me jam, solo, get down, tear it up, and otherwise raise a little dust- your encouraging words, your supportive audiences that shout out loud, and your individual vibes are why I bring my "violyn" and a quarter inch jack cord everywhere I travel. Bless you all - Bourbon Street House Band, Dr.Recommended, Loose Caboose, Johnny Widebars and the Shovelheads, Midnite Ramblers, and T-Blue. Keep the Faith - keep the music.
Dana French, Frenchy and Friends, always an artist, guitar or otherwise, and always a friend, thank you so much for words of wisdom, sharing the gift, and setting an example. I dedicate to you, "Heartbeat", a song I wrote upon your inspiration, and I wish and pray that you continue to always share your talent and your legacy. It has been a joy to receive your approval and endorsement. Shine on . . .
Jim Green, A.K.A., "Wandering Endorphin", - hey that's as much fun to type as it is to say!....Thank you for setting the bar higher and being that example of not settling for anything less than your dream. For coffee house beginnings, jammin' in house, and your opening spot for my band at our Wheaton Grand benefit concert, I am grateful to you. Your style, music, and that drummin' guitar thang you do are intoxicating - like I always said you have arrived - you just gotta keep playin' til everyone knows!!
Brian Hill, Christian singer/song writer - thank you for your direction, encouragement, and a guest artist spot at the Sanctuary Christmas Show. I will forever be touched by your helpfulness and mentoring. It is a joy to join you in praying and praising with the talents as they are given for His purpose.

Joining you for the finale of "That Thing You Do" Cavalcade of Stars will always be a favorite memory. To all our friends and artists that came together to do more....with our God given talents in this world of hurt ...I am humbled to join you. As Todd Agnew called on us to remember -know what you sing and then sing what you know - Joey your music and ministry meets this mission. Thank you again, for letting me join you in performance at the Lakewood Church, Houston, TX. May God Bless you all.
Dave Orr, guitarist/singer/songwriter- thanks for letting me jam the nite away with you at the Key Wester open mic. Always cool to meet local talent and make new friends. The compliments and return plays were just what I needed that nite.
Derek Plant, Plant Brothers Band, - thank you for the jams at Fox Grill, One East Wilson, and the Riverlane Pub. Love those harmonies and the neighborly grassroots style with your kind introductions. You are always a joy to bump into - cuz where ever you show up there is always your encouraging words and /or music to share. May your band and your brothers take you where you want to go.
Andy Powel, Wishbone Ash, England - though it was only a "virtual jam" I thank you for taking the time to listen and respond to my music and the inclusion of my "violyn" styling on a few selections of yours. One day I will be able to take you up on your approval of opening for you as I know timing and agents all have to line up. In the mean time just knowing you enjoyed what you heard means a world.
